Elwood Reece, 75, Succumbs Sunday

Elwood Reece, seventy-five year old Greenfield resident, died at his home on South State Street Sunday morning. The body was taken to the Lynam Funeral Home and was removed to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Harding, on South Pennsylvania Street, Tuesday morning. Funeral services were held at the Pierson Street Mission Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock with Rev. Frank Edwards, of Westland, officiating. Interment was made in Park Cemetery.
Mr. Reece is survived by the widow, Mrs. Lydia Reece: five daughters, Mrs. Ben Hite, Mrs. Pete Richey, Mrs. Walter Harding, Mrs. Dewey Leary and Mrs. Robert Williams, and one son, Charles Reece. A brother, Albert Reece, and twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive.
