Joanne Vaughn, 82, entered eternal life on Friday, September 11, 2015 just shy of her 83rd birthday, which would have been September 19th.

She is survived by her children Debby (Jim),
David (Tammy), Becky (Bob), Heidi (Joe);
15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Joanne's life will be celebrated Saturday, Sept.
19th at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Church in Hemet.

In honor of Joanne's life-long commitment to missions, donations can be made to the Vaughn Memorial at
Cornerstone Church and will be used for missions.

"Joannie" as she was affectionately called, was "Dean of Women" at the New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, Michigan while I was a student there. Together with her husband, Jack, they inspired and encouraged everyone with whom they came into contact by their glorious music ministry. Her infectious spirit put a song in your heart just by gazing upon her smiling, joyful face. I can clearly see them singing their duets while Joanne played the piano. As a couple, they radiated the love of Jesus to the faculty and student body of NTBI. I will forever be indebted for the gracious spiritual guidance she provided to me as I was beginning my marital journey. My condolences to her children, especially Debby who was my roommate at the Waukesha, Wisconsin NTBI campus.
