In 1992, survivors included her husband, Wilson McElroy; two sons, Tim McElroy of Burlson, Texas and Joe McElroy of Lufkin, Texas; a stepson, Jay McElroy of New Caney, Texas; two brothers, E.A. McBurnett of Corpus Christi, and Gil McBurnett of Rockdale, Texas; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. September 15, 1992 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, Texas.
