James L. Redman, 89 died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nora Morris, 1010 Fifth street, early Tuesday morning. Mr. Redman farmed north of Milliken for 45 years before retiring three years ago to make his home with his daughter. He was born near Ashville, N.C.
Survivors include Joseph P. Redman of Greeley, Mrs. Sallie Gimple of Grand Junction, John T. Redman of LaSalle, Mrs. Beulah Martin of Englewood, Charles H. Redman of Monterey Park, Calif. Mrs. Sylvia Goracke of Masonville, Calif. and Mrs. Nora Morris of Greeley. There are also 32 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren surviving.
Funeral services in charge of Macys will be announced later.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Calfee Redman on Dec. 20, 1931 and a daughter, Jennie Redman Trimble on Apr. 9, 1925
