Joseph B. Redman, 90, Bonnell retirement Community died there Friday Nov. 14. He had resided at 1020 9th St. until recently.
He was born at Harris, Mo., June 29, 1885, and came to Colorado in 1905.
On Feb. 5, 1913, he married Bessie Trimble at Greeley. She died May 11, 1972.
He farmed many years in this area, moving to Greeley in 1937. He worked for Linn Grove Cemetery for a number of years. Later he worked for 15 years in maintenance for School District Six, retiring at age 78.
Survivors include four sons, Virgil and Joseph L. both of Aurora, Charles B. of Torrington, Wyo., and James R. of Denver; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Miller of Northglenn and Mrs. Ruby Lacer of Boulder; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Morris of Greeley and Mrs. Sylvia Goracke and Mrs. Beulah Martin, both of Denver; a brother, Charles Redman of California; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Claude in 1972 and a daughter, Doris Jean in 1928.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Macy Allnutt Drawing Room. Interment in Johnstown Cemetery.
