Mrs. May Earls Handlon, 78, route five, died yesterday at King's Daughters' Hospital after a long illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County and a member of the Louisville Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Edith M. Hurt, Kent; four sisters; Mrs. Mayme Menk, Mrs. Minnie Hyden, Mrs. Martha Brooks, and Mrs. Jo Action, all of Madison; two brothers, Fred Earls, Farmington, Mich., and John, Lexington; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Gans Funeral Home with burial in the Springdale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
