ELIZABETH TOPPING
The funeral of Elizabeth Ann Topping, 73, Anamosa, was 1:30 p.m., June 13 at the Goettsch Funeral home. Rev. Victor Nelson officiated.
Burial was in Oakwood cemetery in Monticello. Mrs. Topping died June 10 at Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 4, 1906,near Amber, daughter of Thomas and Johanna Weers Schoon. She was married to William Topping Oct. 30,1928 at Hopkinton and the couple made their home in the Amber area until moving to Anamosa in 1951. She is survived by her husband and seven children, Mrs. Earl (Bionda) Boots of Monticello, Mrs. William (Bessie) Hartwig of Cedar Rapids, Rhinehart Topping of Anamosa, Mrs. La vera
(Junie) Ulferts of Anamosa, Edwin Topping of Hiawatha, Mrs. Lloyd (Erna) Young of Monticello and Mrs. Sam (Zalda) Sonders of Los Angeles, Ca. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Mayme Plank and Matie Schoon of Anamosa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
