MATIE SCHOON

Matie Schoon, 95, of Anamosa, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at the Anamosa Care Center following a lengthy illness.
Memorial services will be 3:00 Sunday afternoon, July 25, at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness, Anamosa. Speaker Lowell Klinefelter will officiate. Friends may call at the Kingdom Hall one hour before services. Interment will be at Wayne Zion Cemetery, rural Monticello.
Matie Schoon was born October 12, 1908 in Amber. She was the daughter of Thomas and Johanna Weers Schoon. She attended school in Amber and lived in the Anamosa area all of her adult life.
Survivors include two nephews and seven nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Maymie Plank and Lizzie Topping.
The Goettsch Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
