50th Wedding Anniversary Is Celebrated
Mr. and Mrs. Sam T. Cockrill are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary today. They were married June 29, 1898 in Bonham by the Rev. J. N. Hudgins, a methodist minister.
Mr. Cockrill is a native of Kentucky and Mrs. Cockrill who was before her marriage Miss Cecil Davis Grubbs, is a native of Tennessee.
They are the parents of six children, four of whom are still living. Weldon and Bailey of Bonham, Sam T. Jr. of Denison, and Mrs. Mary Lou Badgett of Albuquerque, N. M.
They have ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Cockrill have lived in and around Bonham for the past fifty years.
