TEW FUNERAL IS HELD WEDNESDAY
American Legion, Masons Pay Last Tributes at Funeral Service

Funeral services for Harry Hammond Tew, 42, employed here as a printer for the past ten years, were held yesterday afternoon from the home of his brother-in-law, Fred W. Lee, 332 Baker street. Masonic rites being held at the graveside in Cedarlawn cemetery.

Dr. J. Lloyd Decell. pastor of Galloway Memorial church, and Rev. James N. Faulconer of the First Christian church, officiated. Members of Henry Graves post of the American Legion acted as honorary pall bearers.

A native of Alabama, Tew was employed as a printer until failing health forced him to withdraw from active work. He was formerly with Brown Printing- company. Besides his membership In the Episcopal church, Tew was a Mason and a member of the American Legion. He was a World war veteran.

Besides his widow, Mrs. Frances Tew, he Is survived by two sons, George Thomas Tew and Charles Tew; one daughter. Miss Alva Lucille Tew, all of Jackson; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Sconyers, Fort Worth, Texas; Mrs. Ed Dona, Point Clear, Ala.; Mrs. W. P. Finley, Mobile, Ala.; and two brothers, T. R. Tew," Hobile; and R, J. Gibbons, Walla Walla, Wash.

Pall bearers were F. D. Porter, George P. Renton, Terry Hughes, J. S. Brown, E. H. Kehtel and Fred Sanders.
