Buried with same marker as his wife, Theodosia Holmes Hobbs and his son, Collin S. Jr. The monument is next to CSA Lt. General Richard Ewell's grave. Maxey and his wife. Maxey's wife was a daughter of Collin, Sr. and Theodosia Hobbs.
