Powhatan W. & Julia's monument is on the left (east) of the three. A few feet to the south and center is the monument to their son, William O. Maxey, bearing an inscription on its south face to Colin S. Hobbs (1822-1848). To the right (west) is the monument Powhatan W. & Julia's son, Powhatan C. Maxey.
