Mrs. Madge Lou Thomas 80, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Liberty All Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Burton will officiate the service. The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Mrs. Thomas was born October 31, 1934 in Henderson County, Tennessee to the late Willie H. and Ruby (Rummage) Azbill. She was retired from the Publix Shirt Corp. and a member of the Faith in Christ Church. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Baxter; three brothers, Edward Azbill, Harold Azbill, and Denver Azbill. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Elmer Thomas; three sons, Larry D. Thomas (wife Wanda) of Trezevant, Charles Fred Thomas (wife Teresa), and Mark E. Thomas (wife Karen) both of Huntingdon; one brother, Bobby Azbill of Cedar Grove. She also leaves seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
