From the family Bible, Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Beckette announce the birth of a son, James Daniel, on Thursday, Jan. 30, at their home in Lyle addition. written Staunton VA. Jim was born 7:00pm on 1/30/1941. when age 3 he had chicken pox (Mar 1944). James had poison ivy every summer from the age of 5 to 11. He got it real bad every summer. James got whooping cough in 1945 or 46. James had measles in 47 or 48.

He was a Graduate of Towson State University with a Bachelor's Degree. He was a Vietnam era Veteran. He was twice married and had 3 children by his first wife and two children by his second wife - 1 daughter and 4 sons. He is also survived by two brothers Glenn M. and Thomas E. and two sisters Rebecca R. and Rosemary plus numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by one aunt Edith B. Mizer of Staunton, VA.
