Jacob Eby, son of Theodorus Eby, died without issue and is believed to have been buried with Theodorus Eby on the family plot.

The bond for administration of his estate was filed on January 4, 1746, by Michael Witwer and Michael Grebill. Not coincidentally, Michael Witwer's father, Hans Witwer, was one of the administrators of the estate of Jacob's father, Theodorus. The Eby and Witwer families were closely allied, perhaps through the second wife of Theodorus.

The estate administration also provides a list of Jacob's brothers and sisters: Peter, Christian and George, by Theodorus's first wife, and Barbara, Elizabeth, and Mary, by a second wife.

The accounting reveals that Jacob lived with Michael Grebill, the administrator, for one year and four weeks when sick, and the estate was charged £5 for the service.
