William F. Price, 71, of RR 4, West Lake Drive, Springfield and Garden Grove, Calif., died at 2:20 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Hospital. Surviving are three sons, Harold of Granite City, William and Robert of Garden Grove, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Carl Jiannoni Sr. of Rochester, Mrs. Wilma Gaddis of Santa Anna, Calif., Mrs. Louis Pilcher of Springfield, Mrs. Lavern Wells of California, Mrs. Robert Moriconi and Mrs. Zelma Gathard, both of Springfield; 27 grandchildren; three grandchildren; one brother, Carl of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Stone of Santa Anna, Calif. He was born in Christian County the son of Jacob and Louise Vittle Price. A retired construction laborer, Mr. Price was a memb er of the Church of the Little Flower. His wife, Zelma died in 1958. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Little Flower, with Rev. Raymond O'Connor officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body is at Kirlin and Egan Funeral Home.
