Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville.
He was born July 4, 1922 at Huntington, the son of Milton and Effa (Daily) Silcox. He received his education in the Estherville Schools. He served in the U.S. Air Force serving in WWII. On August 16, 1947, he was united in marriage with Vivian Alice Koenecke at Jackson Minn. The couple lived most of their married life in Avoca and Huntington. He was a heavy equipment operator for Dusenbourg Construction Company for many years. He was a member of the Huntington Methodist Church and also the V.F.W. Post No. 3388 of Estherville.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Larson of Panama City, Florida.
