The son of Anning Wiggins and Catherine Woodworth.

David was the husband of Joanna LeClear, the daughter of Peter LeClear and Hepsibeth Cross. They married 04 Feb 1816 and had Sarah, Minerva and Joanna.

Joanna died 25 Jan 1824 in Rome, New York.

Secondly, David married Joanna's sister, Lydia. They were married 11 Apr 1824 and had the following children; Leucretia, Milton, Francis, Milford and David.

David moved to Rome in 1798, and then to Western. He served in the War of 1812, and in 1821 he moved to Rome. He is listed as a farmer with a farm valued at $1000. David died in Rome 19 Feb 1876 almost one year after his second wife Lydia.
