Margaret K. Erixon, 91, of Mondamin, Iowa, died Sept. 24, 2007, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 27, at the United Methodist Church in Mondamin. Interment was in the Magnolia (Iowa) Cemetery.

Margaret K. Burmeister was born Jan. 3, 1916, in Fort Calhoun to John and Elizabeth (Gross) Burmeister.

On Nov. 7, 1942, she married Gerald H. Erixon, and in 1951, they moved to a farm near Mondamin where they farmed for many years.

Mrs. Erixon enjoyed playing cards, reading and working the orchards in the fall. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her children, Rodney and Mary Erixon of Modale, Iowa, Lynetta and Bob Bair of Blair, Royce and Shirley Erixon of Mondamin; daughter-in-law, Debbie Erixon of Ankeny, Iowa; sister, Helen Jipp of Blair; brothers, Arnold Burmeister of Blair and Richard Burmeister of Fort Calhoun; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, in 1994; and a son, Roger.
