Ralph R. was born August 11, 1918, in Rulo, Nebraska, to Mose and Sarah (Prenatt) Frederick. He graduated from Rulo High School.
He married Doris Olson on June 11, 1936, in Hiawatha, Kansas. They were blessed with five children.
Ralph R. Frederick served in the United States Army in 1944.
He later worked as a heavy equipment operator for Anker Construction Company in Omaha.
Ralph R. Frederick, 71, of Blair, Nebraska, died March 7, 1990, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and five sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; three sons and daughters-in-law: William "Bill" and Annette Frederick, Herman, NE; Robert and Carol Frederick of Blair; Ralph Frederick of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters and sons-in-law: Kathryn and Nick Fiore, Henderson, Nevada; Patricia A. and Tom Terlitsky, Las Vegas, Nevada; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Frederick of Rulo, Nebraska; and a sister, Henrietta Connor of Wheatland, Wyoming.
There will be a rosary at 7:30 pm Friday, March 9, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home's Chapel, in Blair, Nebraska. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
