W. Thomas Anthony Jr., 54, of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2009 in his home. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of William T. Anthony Sr. with whom he resided and the late Jayne W. Anthony who passed away in 2004. He was a 1972 graduate of Liberty High School and a 1976 graduate of Penn State, where he received a degree in political science. In 1979, he received his law degree from Syracuse Law School and opened his law office in Bethlehem, where he continued to practice from for more than 30 years. He was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ, Bethlehem. He was a past president of the Bethlehem Area Jaycees.

Survivors: Include his father, brother, David J. Anthony and his wife, Nikki, of Bethlehem; nephews, David J. Anthony Jr. and his wife, Carrie and their daughter, Lillianna, of Brandon, Fla. and Jonathan W. Anthony of Bethlehem.

Services: A private service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
