Louis Lindberg Owens, age 80 of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Louis was a music entertainer as well as a music manager, publisher, songwriter and producer. He was a veteran of the Unites States Army.
Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Jake and Rena Owens; siblings, Dorothy Jo Owens Parton, Avie Lee Owens Parton, Estelle Owens Watson, Robert John Henry Owens, and Lester Owens.
Survivors include:
Wife: Colleen Reagan Owens
Children: Richie Owens( and wife Lisa), Jeffrey Owens
Grandchildren: Casey Owens, Dylan Owens, Chelsea Henry Owens, Nikki Owens and husband Christopher Storey, Estelle Owens
Great-grandchildren: Jaysa Storey, Ayden Henry, and Liam Shumate
Brothers: Bill Owens and wife Sandy, Alden Owens
Funeral service 2 PM Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Caton's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
