The Whaleys lived in Illinois during the early years of their marriage, but moved to Doniphan, Ripley County, Missouri in the late 1880's. Rosie's widowed father-in-law, Samuel Whaley, also lived with the family there. He was born around 1820 in Ohio.
The Whaleys divorced sometime between 1900 and Rosie's remarriage in 1908.

Rosie's second husband was Cleveland "Cleve" Bogue. He was the son of Anderson Bogue and Dorothy Chisnall, and was the father of several children from a previous marriage
Rosie and Cleve lived in Madison County, Illinois after their marriage. Cleve was a tiling contractor and worked in the plumbing business.
Rosie and Cleve were the parents of 1 son who was born in Alton, Illinois in 1910. The Bogues moved to Grafton, Jersey County, Illinois when their son was a young boy.
A number of relatives lived with the family over the years in Grafton. They included Rosa's brother, John Kean, and nephew, Stacy Kean, as well as some grandchildren.
Cleve passed away in 1934.

Rosie was in poor health during the final several months of her life. She died at her home exactly 3 weeks after her 76th birthday.
She was survived by 3 daughters, Allie Dean of St. Louis, Missouri, Grace Callaway of Grafton, and Dollie Zimmerman, also of Grafton; 2 sons, Joe Whaley of Grafton, and Charles Bogue of Alton, Illinois; and 4 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by both of her husbands; and 4 children.
Visitation was held at Luly Brothers Funeral Chapel in Alton. The body was then moved to the family home in Grafton. Funeral services were conducted at the Assembly of God Church in Grafton.
