Ruth F. DeBord, 88, of Des Moines died Thursday, April 30, 1981, at home. Born in Madison County, she had lived in Des Moines most of her life.
Survivors include four daughters, Mildred German, Pauline Byg, Lorraine Miles, Shirley Wiles, all of Des Moines, two sons, Kenneth Pace of Des Moines and Lawrence Pace of Van Nuys, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday afternoon, May 4, at Hamilton's Funeral Home with burial at Winterset cemetery.
Note: Maiden name was "Ruth Fern Beard". She first married Byron Pace who died in 1943 and later married a Debord.
