She married Michael Davidson Wisdom at Baker City, Baker County, Oregon, on July 24, 1888. The following article was published in The Oregonian, Portland, Oregon, on Sunday, July 29, 1888, p. 3.

BROWN—WISDOM

Tuesday, July 24, at the residence of Hon. A. H. Brown, near Baker City, M. D. Wisdom and Miss Roberta W. Brown, were joined in the holy bonds of wedlock, Rev. Goss, pastor of the Episcopal church, officiating. The happy bridegroom was for several years engaged in business in Baker City, and served at one time in the capacity of county clerk. He is now president of the well known drug firm of W. M. Wisdom & Co., of this city. The happy bride is the beautiful and accomplished daughter of Hon. A. H. Brown, one of Baker county's earliest and most respected pioneer citizens, and also a sister of Mrs. W. M. Wisdom. Only immediate friends and relatives witnessed the ceremony. After the wedding an elegant outdoor wedding breakfast was served on the spacious lawn surrounding Mr. Brown's residence. The newly married pair will reside for the present at 207 Yamhill street.

Friends invited to attend funeral services, which will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 19th and Everett streets, at 2 P.M. today (Wednesday), May 4.
