Obit from Rochester Post Bulletin:
Byron L. Vale, 55, died in a Rochester hospital. A 34 year resident here, he had been a custodian in Central School before becoming ill several years ago. He was born January 1, 1905 in Princeton MN and came to Rochester from Bemidji in 1926. He married the former Helen Kadlec in Minneapolis January 5, 1944 and she survives.
Other survivors include six children, three brothers (Cecil, Ralph and Chester), four sisters (Mrs. Adolph Boehlke, Mrs. Wilbur Gay, Mrs. Guy Ellenbaum, and Mrs. George Pickett). Funeral services will be conducted in the First Methodist Church with burial in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Rochester.
