Mrs. George Pickett, 51, suburban Marion Township, died at Olmsted Community Hospital after a lengthy illness precipitated by a stroke. She was the former Iris Vale, a native of Princeton, MN, where she was born December 28, 1914. On August 11, 1932 she was married in Rochester. The couple has resided in Olmsted County the past 40 years.
Mrs. Pickett is survived by her husband, George, five daughters and one son, three brothers (Cecil, Ralph, Chester) and two sisters (Edith and Martha), and 12 grandchildren. One daughter, one brother and three sisters preceded her in death. [Provided by Jeanne Vale ([email protected])]
