Obituary.
Died Aug. 20, 1899, at 11:30 o'clock a. m. little Anna Kate, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Freeman, aged 11 months and 4 days. No more will her sweet voice be heard in childish play. How she will be missed from the family circle. She has gone to the realms of bliss. Death has taken her from a fond mother and father, five brothers, three sisters and many relatives.
Little Anna was a bright and beautiful child. and loved by all who knew her. Father, mother, sisters and brothers may you in that other world form one unbroken band. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. McGarvey at the Christain [sic] church at 10 a. m., after which little Anna was laid to rest in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
We extend our heart felt sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives.
Farewell to earth with its trials and heart aches.
Farewell to sickness, sorrow and pain.
Rest now in peace beyond the dark valley.
Free from all sorrow; our loss is thy gain.
Rest little one with Christ, thou art happy.
Kindly all tears have been wiped from thine eyes;
Partings are over deaths struggles ended,
Safe in the land where the soul never dies. — ANNA HUMPHREY.
