MELBOURNE — Rudolph Leonard Liscomb, 71, of Melbourne died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at his home.

Born Feb. 15, 1942, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Hamilton and Lottie Mae Suddeth Liscomb. He was united in marriage to Aleta Jean Coggins on May 5, 1965. He served in the U.S. Army for many years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son, Curtis Liscomb of Imboden; two daughters, Kathy Allmon of Melbourne and Vada Whitlock of Heber Springs; two sisters, Dorothy Liscomb of Jonesboro and Betty Liscomb of Black Rock; 16 grandchildren, Michael Liscomb, Vanessa Pendergrass, David Rigsbee, Thomas Liscomb, Ryan Langston, Nina Langston, Isaiah Whitlock, Addison Whitlock, Krystal Allmon, Brittney Allmon, Hamilton Liscomb, Devin Liscomb, Katlynn Liscomb, James Whitlock, Gerald Whitlock and Victoria Whitlock; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Charles Liscomb; and a sister, Shirley Elliott.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Melbourne Cemetery. Arrangements were by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Pallbearers were Phillip Whitlock, Ryan Langston, Kainen Rogers and David Rigsbee.
