Anne lived in Randolph where she gave birth to her son Kenneth in 1932. She moved to Shenandoah in the late 1940’s where she was employed by Mt. Arbor Nursery. She worked for the greenhouses until she fell and broke her wrist in 1977. After retiring from Mt. Arbor, Anne took up babysitting. Known to all the children she cared for as “Grandma,” she loved them all as if they were her grandchildren. She took great joy in caring for children. She continued caring for children until she fell and broke her hip in 2001 at the age of 91. At that time Anne moved to Gardenview Care Center where she lived happily until her death.
