Booneville, July 30 - Claude Tye, 32, a farmer, died at 9:30 a.m. today in Gibson hospital, Richmond, after a one-week illness.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Amanda Tye, Sturgeon; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Brewer and Mrs. Opal Brewer, Sturgeon; Mrs. Georgia Spurlock and Mrs. Pearl Marcum, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Christine Marcum, Hazard, and three brothers, Speed Tye, Portsmouth, Ohio; John b. Tye, Travelers Rest, and Jack Tye, in the Navy.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the King Justice funeral home here.
