HAMPTON - John K. Davidson, 58, of 119 Northhampton Drive, died Friday in Hampton Veterans Administration Center Hospital at Hampton.
Born in Lexington, he was a body shop manager for Nick Allen Buick. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy R. Davidson; two daughters, Mrs. Jean D. McCroba of Macon, Ga., and Mrs. Lucy D. Blackwood of Atlanta; two sons, John K. Davidson, III of Smithfield, and Allen R. Davidson of Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Cornelia Kraft of Islip, N.Y.; a brother Frank Davidson of Texas; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Stonewall Jackson Cemetery, Lexington.
Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Mr. Davidson was married to Nancy Ragan Davidson. He was born in Lexington on April 10, 1926, and was the son of the late John Kinnear Davidson and Alice Sterrett Davidson.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hampton and was the manager of the body shop at Nick Allen Buick.
Mr. Davidson was a graduate of Washington and Lee University. He received his master's degree from the University of Virginia.
He was a prisoner of war in World War II and recipient of the Purple Heart. He served in Europe during the Korean conflict.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Jean D. McCroba of Macon, Ga., and Lucy D. Blackwood of Atlanta, Ga.; two sons, John K. Davidson III of Smithfield and Allen R. Davidson of Richmond; one sister, Mrs. Cornelia Kraft of Islip, N.Y., and one brother, Frank Davidson of Texas, and five grandchildren.
