Chester married Miss. Geraldine Garrett age 20 from Bernice, Louisiana. Her parents were Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Garrett from Verda, Louisiana. Chester is shown as being age 23 and from Shongaloo, Louisiana.
Chester registered for the military in 1918. He is shown as a farmer. He was of medium hieght, slender build, blue eyes and light hair. Local board, Minden, Webster Parish, Louisiana.
In the 1930 Census, Chester and Geraldine were shown as living in Bossier, Bossier Parish, Louisiana. In the 1940 Census, they were living in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana. His occupation was that of a Construction Forman for the WPA.
