MRS. SUSAN SCHOMMER WEYKER


Mrs. Susan (Schommer) Weyker, 82, a former resident of Holy Cross, died Tuesday in Tuscon, AZ, following a five-week illness.


She was born September 7, 1878, and was married to John Baptiste Weyker in Holy Cross in 1901. The couple farmed there until his death on July 20, 1941.


She is survived by two sons, Richard of Tuscon, and Alvin of Milwaukee, WI; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Casper Schommer, Washington, D.C., and Edward Schommer, Detroit, MI, and two sisters, Clara Weyker, Random Lake, and Margaret Pirgung, Sheboygan.


Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Decada, with burial at the Holy Cross Cemetery.


Friends may call at the Junger's Funeral Home, Dacada, after 1 p.m., Sunday.
