John Baptiste Weyker of Holy Cross Dies
FREDONIA - J.B. Weyker, 61, died at his home in Holy Cross, town of Belgium, Sunday morning at 8:00 after a short illness.
He was born in Holy Cross on December 17, 1879, son of Nick and Anna Weyker. On May 21, 1901, he married Susan Schommer at Holy Cross, locating on a farm where he lived for the rest of his life.
Survivors are his widow, two sons, Richard, of the home, and Alvin of Dacada, four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Mayer, Belgium.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Holy Cross Church, the Rev. Phillp Wagner officiating, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. The body can be viewed at the home.
