Mary L. Honsberger, 87, a resident of Heartland Nursing Home and formerly of 1290 Home Circle Drive, died at Thursday in Bucyrus Community Hospital. She was born in Upper Sandusky to Leroy "Tip" and Bena (Gottfried) Stevens. She was married April 6, 1930, to Burton Honsberger, who preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Wesley L. (Nancy) Honsberger of Upper Sandusky, 4 daughters, Mrs. Owen (Clara Jean) Snyder of Marion, Ind., Mrs. Joseph (Rita E.) Snyder of Scottsbluff, Neb., Colleen L. Seckel of Upper Sandusky and Mrs. David (Patricia A.) Jury of Bucyrus, 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Steven Honsberger, and a sister, Alma Cochran. She graduated from Upper Sandusky High School. Mary was retired from Millington Plastics in Upper Sandusky. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Women of the Church and also was a Gray Lady at the hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Wise Funeral Service. Pastor Kyle A. Mann will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Our Master's Chapel in Benton or Wayside Chapel in Bucyrus through the funeral home.
