Mrs. Helms Dies at 84-Blairite Dies At Home of Sister, Mrs. Compton; Rites Set For Today
Mrs. Ethel Alice Helms (Warrick), 84, who had been making her home with a sister, Mrs. D. A. Compton, at 506 West Washington St., died early yesterday, July 6, at the Compton home after a lingering illness.
The funeral is to be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Bendorf Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Mrs. Helms is survived by one son, Edgar Harold Helms of Knob Noster, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Eva Williams of Omaha; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
