OBITUARY.
PRIESTER.
The death of Henry Priester occurred Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital where he had been for many months, under treatment for cancer of the bowels. His death had been almost hourly expected for sometime, and life was only prolonged by a number of his most difficult operations. His devoted wife was his constant companion during his illness. The deceased was a son of Chas. Priester, an old resident of Davenport and was 37 years of age. He leaves a wife and three children. The funeral services were held this afternoon from the residence of his father, 1204 Gaines street. The interment was a Pine Hill cemetery.
