Born April 9, 1861, near Mt. Joy, Mrs. Priester, the former Annie Wiese, was married to Henry Priester in 1879, at Mt. Joy. After their marriage the couple moved to a farm near there, later to a farm at Walnut, Ia., and in 1893 came to Davenport. Mrs. Priester was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frank Jungjohann, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Fred Johanssen, Lebon, Ore.; her son; one sister, Mrs. Meta Ploehn, Bettendorf; two brothers, Henry Wiese, Eldridge, and Emil Wiese, Luverne, Minn.; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The body was removed to Hill & Fredericks funeral home.
