Memorial services for Maymie R. Plank were 3:00 Sunday afternoon February 28, 1999 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Anamosa. Interment will be at a later dat.
Maymie R. Plank, age 93, of Anamosa, died Wednesday afternoon, February 24 at her residence in Anamosa following a lengthy illness.
Maymie R. Plank was born April 15 1905 in Amber. She was the daughter of Thomas and Johanna Weers Schoon. She attended school in Amber. On April 8, 1943 she married Floyd Cecil Plank. Maymie and her sister wallpapered houses in the Anamosa area for many years
She is survived by two daughters, Hazel Plank and Rena (Lowell) Klinefelter, both of Anamosa; five stepchildren, Florence Bergale of Cedar Rapids, Ellen Cooper of Florida, Ialene Christ of Ohio, Wilma Plank of Iowa and Paul Plank of Iowa and one sister, Matie Schoon of Anamosa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd on April 1, 1959; one sister, Elizabeth Topping three step-sons and two step-daughters.
The Goettsch Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
