LARS K. JENSEN, 85
Graveside services for Lars K. Jensen, 85, who died at Crowell Memorial Home October 16, 1990 will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday, October 18, at the Blair Cemetery, with Rev. Ron Miers officiating.
Lars Kai Jensen was born on August 19, 1905 in Redhus, Denmark to Thomas Jensen and Lauretta Hansen. He came to the United States as a child and later attended school in Spencer, Nebraska.
Lars retired from the military as an officer.
In 1976, he moved to Fremont after the death of his first wife, Myrtle. He has resided in Blair for the last three years.
He married Irene Charleston in 1978. She preceded him in death in 1987.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his two sisters, Anne Parcher of Blair and Marie Wheatley, Wymore, Nebraska; three brothers, Neils Jensen, Wymore, Albert Jensen, Tacoma, Washington, and Woodrow Jensen, Omaha, Nebraska; three step-children, Jesse Franklin, Sue Neas and Donna Taylor, all of South Carolina and one step-grandchild.
