Former Blair resident L. Marie Wheatley, 88, of Wymore died Monday, May 18, 1998, at the Wymore Good Samaritan Center.
Graveside service will be at the Blair Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Cynthia Ordway of the Wymore United Presbyterian Church is officiating.
She was born June 7, 1909, at Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Thomas P. and Lauretta ( Hansen ) Jensen. She spent her childhood at Spencer and was a 1928 graduate of Spencer High School. She attended the Capitol School of Hair Styling in Omaha. On May 19, 1943, she married F. Warren Wheatley in Omaha. They moved to Blair, and then to Wymore in 1978.
She was a member of the Wymore United Presbyterian Church and the Beacon Mariners of the church.
Survivors are a sister, Anna Parcher of Blair; two brothers and sister - in - law, Neils Jensen of Wymore and Albert and Pat Jensen of Tacoma, Wash.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, F. Warren on April 4, 1997; three brothers and one sister.
Laughlin - Hoevet Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
