Obituary -
"Mrs. Elmora Elizabeth Campbell aged 67 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bob Caviness, at Gravelly Monday night, April 9th, 1917, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Campbell, whose maiden name was Cotton, was born in Simpson County, Tenn. June 22, 1850, and with her parents moved to Yell County in girlhood. In 1867 she was united in marriage to John H. Campbell, who died in 1890. Until about 15 years ago, when she moved to Mesa, Ariz. Mrs. Campbell had resided in this city, She was a woman of many virtues, a devoted wife, a faithful mother and a devout follower of the meek and lowly Nazarene.

She is survived by two daughters and four sons Mrs. Bob Caviness, of Gravelly; Mrs. W. W. Gardner, of Baker, Ore. W. A. Campbell, of Poteau, Okla. R. A. Campbell, of Oilton, Okla. John Campbell, of Mesa, Ariz. Jesse Campbell, of El Paso, Tex. She is also survived by three sisters and four brothers Mrs. W. C. Grace, of Mesa, Ariz. Mrs. Josie Blackwell, of Denver, Colo. Mrs. Mattie Haliburton, of this city, and L. R. Cotton, C. B. Cotton, W. D. Cotton, and R. S. Cotton, of this city, and W. E. Cotton, of Carrollton, Miss. The Post Dispatch joins the many friends of the surviving relatives in extending sympathy."
