Edward M. Harrison, 88, departed his earthly home to be received in his heavenly home surrounded by his loving family Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 12:15 a.m. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Ed was born Aug. 8, 1924, in Fort Worth and resided in River Oaks for 64 years. He was a longtime member of Castleberry Church of Christ in River Oaks. Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Harrison; son, Ben Harrison; father, Edward Benjamin Harrison; mother, Nell Belshe Harrison; twin sisters, Jean and June; and brother, Bob Harrison. Survivors: Daughters, Deborah Mumaw of Fort Worth, Denise Jones and husband, Howard, of Fort Worth and Donna Harrison of River Oaks; daughter-in-law, Bunnie Harrison of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren in Tennessee, Texas, Colorado and Florida. He also was loved by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
