Services for Claire N. Wilkinson, 83, Crete Manor, Crete, Nebraska and formerly of Blair, who died February 5, 1994 at Crete Manor will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 8 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Claire N. Wilkinson was born April 1, 1910 at Blair to Peter K. and Bertha Rasmussen Nelson. She graduated from Blair High School.
She married William Thomas Wilkinson February 25, 1933. They farmed south of Blair until 1958 at which time they moved to Florida. They lived there over 30 years before moving to Lincoln, Nebraska two years ago to be near their daughter, Shirley because of health reasons.
She was active in several clubs, including the Monday Afternoon Club and Wranch Maney Club while living in the Blair area.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Tom, Sr., of Lincoln; a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Beth Wilkinson of Columbia, South Carolina; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and LeRoy Seng of Lincoln and Sue and Gary Clifford of Long Valley, New Jersey; nine grandchildren and two sisters, Alvina Rosenbaum of Blair and Eleanor Jensen of Lincoln.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, the family wishes memorials to be directed to the Alzheimer Association or Crete Manor.
