MRS. ANINA RASMUSSEN DIES

Mrs. Anina Rasmussen, age 81 years, died at 2 p.m. December 10 at the home of her son, L. C. Rasmussen, four miles south of Kennard.

Mrs. Rasmussen is an early settler of this county, coming here in the early eighties, and with her husband, settling on the farm where she continued to make her home until her death. Her life was one of usefulness, and her old friends will greatly miss her kindly, helpful influence.

The husband passed away about twenty five years ago, but three sons are living who mourn the loss of the mother. The sons are L. C., living four miles south of Kennard; P. C., living six miles west of Kennard and R. C. of Plainview, Nebr.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. from the home last Thursday afternoon, and interment was made in the Prairie View cemetery.
