LARS C. RASMUSSEN BURIED TUESDAY

Lars C. Rasmussen, retired farmer living at 1748 Butler Street in Blair, died here Saturday, July 12th. He was a life-long resident of the county and was well-known here.

Living in Richland Township Kennard town, Washington, Nebraska with birth family in 1900. Father, Chris, born in Denmark June 1853 and immigrated in 1873. Mother, , born in Denmark Oct 1853 and immigrated in 1889.

Married ca 1889

In 1900, two brothers (Lars b in Mar 1893):

Rasmus C Rasmussen, Jul 1895, Nebraska
Peter C Rasmussen, Apr 1898, Nebraska

1900 - Amina? is the mother of 4 children with three living. At that time, those three are accounted for with Lars, Rasmus and Peter, so one child is unaccounted for. 3+ year gap between the marriage year and the year of birth of listed oldest child (1889-1893). Decent possibility that the deceased child was born between these years.

1910 - Mother, Amina A., living with 3 sons in Richland, Washington, Nebraska and widowed.

1930 - Lars is living with his wife, Josephine M (Petersen) Rasmussen, b ca 1900 in Nebraska; residence Richland, Washington, Nebraska.

Additional residents:
Mother, Annie C.
Daughter, Lorraine M., b ca 1921 in Nebraska
Lodger, Otto Petersen, b ca 1908 in Nebraska.

Per Otto Petersen - Celia Petersen Rasmussen, md Lars' brother, Peter C. She had a brother, Otto, born 1908. I believe the lodger here may be Celia's brother, and I believe there may be a familial relationship between Josephine, and sister and brother, Celia and Otto (possibly this Otto).

1940 - Richland, Washington, Nebraska with Josephine and Lorraine.
