William Henry "Dub" Fowler, 78, of Tifton, died Friday, September 29, 2006, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Parrish will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Fowler was born on October 11, 1927 in Tift County and was the son of Henry Austin Fowler and Thelma Cosper Fowler, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Fowler. He was retired from Long Manufacturing and was a member of Tifton Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Fowler also served in the United States Army during World War II.
