Richlands, Va.-Mrs. Stella Jane Wade Gillespie, age 96, of Richlands Virginia passed away Saturday August 7 2004 in a Bland Virginia nursing home.
She was born in Buchanan County Virginia and was the daughter of the late Nathan Babe and Molly Chambers Wade both Buchanan county natives.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband--Rufus Franklin Gillespie.
One grandson--Rodney Gillespie.
One sister--Eady Wade Smith.
Three brothers--Carl Wade--Marvin Wade and Rufus Peach Wade.
Survivors are four sons--Cecil Gillespie of Richlands Virginia--Troy Gillespie of Abingdon Virginia--David Gillespie of Memphis Tenn and Darrell Gillespie of Roanoke Virginia.
Three sisters--Eunice Wade Baldwin of Doran Virginia--Vinnie Viola Wade Newberry of Newport News Virginia and Gladys Wade Boyd of Cedar Bluff Virginia.
Five grandchildren--Gayle Gillespie-Robert Gillespie-Layne Gillespie--Brooke Gillespie and Judy Blevins.
Three great-grandchildren--Bonita Gillespie--Elizabeth Blevins and Emily Blevins.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Jane Wade Gillespie will be conducted Tuesday Aug 10 2004 at eleven at the Hust-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Burial will be in the Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands Virginia.
