Mrs. Lucy Larimer, 78, of Effingham, Illinois died at 8:55 a.m. today, September 10, 1976 at Saint Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham.

Mrs Larimer was born January 17, 1898, in Effingham County, a daughter of William and Laura Shadwell.

She married Grover C. Larimer. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Effingham.

Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday also at the funeral home, with interment in Funkhouser Cemetery.

Surviving her are sons, William, Ralph and Lloyd all of Effingham; daughter Elnora Van Sant of Effingham; sister Vesta (Bess) Leonard of Kankakee, Illinois; two brothers Trobia and Ernest, both of Effingham; 22 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. One son, Noble, her parents, and 13 brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
